Welcome to what I like to call the end of the beginning of the Chris Cuomo Project. Before you jump to conclusions, no, this is not a sign-off. Quite the opposite. It’s a pledge to offer you more through a medium I've grown to admire: Substack.
Why Substack?
I've always been a fan of free content. Who isn’t? But I've come to realize something important – the value of exclusivity and deep, meaningful access. It’s something new for me, a shift from the traditional journalism framework where the relationship with the audience is, admittedly, a bit remote.
This move is about evolving media. It’s about your need for trust and confidence, and yes, about accommodating your expectations for greater access.
Like many of you, I'm not a fan of ads interrupting content. They're a necessary evil in the news business, helping to support the team behind this project. But here’s the catch – you dislike ads. And I get it. My family constantly ribs me for choosing ad-supported streaming options. It made me rethink my approach.
Substack offers a solution – a space free of ads for a modest subscription. A commitment that's more than just monetary; it's about engaging more deeply with the content.
I’m not here to just share news. I want to delve into the struggles and realities that resonate with me – and likely with you. Life's a struggle, a condition we all face in varying degrees. This journey is about sharing those experiences, the failures, the lessons, and yes, the occasional successes.
I’m aware that whatever I share might be scrutinized or misinterpreted. But I believe in transparency and honesty. This isn’t just about news; it's about life's bigger questions and our responses to them. It’s about the interplay of mind and body, our perceptions and reactions to life's challenges.
