He's full of bull. He knows his client did it. He's just trying to remind all of us that we are obligated to withhold judgement until a jury hears the case and decides.

This lawyer is pathetic. I’d bet money Mangione experienced brain damage from a SNRI or the like that he was taking for pain.

Is that well documented? Might be an insanity defense ?

I know he's defending his client...but SERIOUSLY?!

I wasn't surprised by his comment about not seeing evidence. After a period of 10-12 hours knowing/talking to his client, he is not going to say anything damaging other than the presumption of innocence. He is also going to advise his client on what he can and should not say and will fight for his rights until he either gets a ruling in his favor or has to comply. What we may believe to be true is totally different than what an attorney does at this juncture. I also checked out his firm, been around a long time and have handled tough cases. I am in a wait and see mode.

The consequence that awaits a person who decided to respond to something with violence or murder is much greater than that persons entire existence.

All that person proved was that they are a fool.

And foolish are the ones who admire such a fool.

The lawyer is playing it cute. He hasn’t “seen any evidence his client is the shooter” because his client hasn’t been charged with murder in PA. Once he is extradited to NY he’ll have access to that evidence. This is a sure loser of a case for a defense lawyer. His client was caught with all the evidence needed to convict him including hand written confession. The lawyer can drag this out for weeks/months but it’s not going to change the outcome.
